Wayne Rooney has been dethroned this year in more ways than one, the Sunday Times rich list reveals.
The Manchester United captain has lost his place in the first team and is almost certain to leave the club this summer. The Red Devils brought in Zlatan Ibrahimovic last summer and the Swede settled in brilliantly.
The additional arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan to compliment the attack left Rooney competing for a place and ultimately it’s largely left him frozen out of the team for large parts of the campaign.
It hasn’t been all bad for Rooney. He became United’s all-time top goalscorer in December.

Rich List

Despite being on wages close to £300,000-a-week, Rooney has been knocked off the top of British football’s rich list.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s accumulated wealth added to his £220k pay packet and clever business and sponsorship deals puts him on top. He’s worth £110m (second only to Lewis Hamilton in British sport) while Rooney’s worth £93m.
Rooney would regain his place before long if he opted for a big money move to China.
Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola also feature in the top ten as does Gareth Bale.

President Buhari has been given two weeks ultimatum by a civil rights movement, identified as “Concerned Nigerians “the group has asked the president to  conduct a media chat to address the nation on the state of his health and other national issues.
Should the President fail to speak out, the organisation threatened to shut down the country and commence a series of nationwide peaceful processions and call for his resignation from office.
The position of CN, was contained in a six-paragraph statement released on Saturday and entitled: “We will shut down Nigeria if Buhari does not conduct a media chat in two weeks”, signed by its Convener, Deji Adeyanju and Secretary, Dr. John Danfulani.
The CN said that for several weeks, the health of the President had been the source of speculation, as he had neither appeared in public nor attend several official functions, including Federal Executive Cabinet meetings.
The statement reads: “The handling of the situation relating to President Buhari’s health has led to a lot of political uncertainty in the country. This economic uncertainty has, in turn, led to a lot of economic uncertainty as major economic stakeholders and players are unable to make short, middle and long-term economic decisions.
“Furthermore, the uncertainty about President Buhari’s health is stoking ethnic and religious tensions. Only recently a user of the social networking site – Facebook – threatened to kill 200 innocent Nigerians if President Buhari dies. This threat may not be unconnected with rumours making rounds in the northern parts of the country that President Buhari was poisoned.
“To this end, we call on President Buhari to, as a matter of urgency, publicly address the nation on the state of his health and other national issues. Such an address will go a long way in assuaging the socio-economic and political tensions.
“If President Buhari fails or refuses to address the nation within 14 days of this statement, we will commence a series of nationwide peaceful processions calling on President Buhari to resign from office. The processions will also call on the Federal Executive Council and the National Assembly to set up a committee to assess his health in line with Section 144 of the Constitution if he fails or refuses to do so.
“While we recognise that illnesses can afflict anyone, particularly someone of President Buhari’s age, an occupant of the Office of the President has to be more forthcoming with information regarding his health. It is an obligation that the President bears to conduct himself in a manner that does not affect the peace, order and good governance of the country.”

What do you put on your Facebook profile and on your wall? Anything? Everything? Well, according to a hacker, you should be very careful what you put on your Facebook, or you could lose a lot, from money, to even your life.
Some of these things include the sort of details many people use for their passwords - things like their maiden name, first pet, or their favourite album, which seem innocuous when in this other context of a personality list.
Below is a list of some of them:
1. Photographs of your children
While it might seem cute, putting up photographs of your young ones could expose them to pedophiles. Also, what type of information or pictures would your children want to see about themselves online at a later date?
Online security is quite vital
Online security is quite vital
2. Phone number
Your privacy is important, so unless you have a phone number for business purposes, putting up your personal number online could lead to unnecessary phone calls, stalking or even being exposed to scammers.
3. Birthday
Your birthday is one way people can access your bank account and personal details, once they link it with your name and address.

4. Location
There are location services on Android or iPhones, which means that many people know where you live including those that may wish to harm you. Please turn off your location.
5. Too many friends
Having 4,000+ friends on Facebook, when in reality, you only know about 100 is exposing yourself to a lot of unwanted information and interaction. You should definitely prune your friend list.
6. Where your child/young family member goes to school
Do not put the name of your child's school on Facebook. Frequent offenders are prowling the internet for such information that might put your child at risk.
7. Your boss
We have heard of people losing their jobs because of Facebook posts. While you should be careful of what you post, maybe you should remove your boss, to avoid unnecessary hassle.

8. Relationship status
Your relationships are better kept private. It may not work out, and the consequent change from "in a relationship" to "single" will make you feel worse than you already do.
9. When you are going on holiday
Putting your holiday plans on Facebook is not a good idea. Burglars can choose that time to rob your house.
10. ATM card pictures
This is never a good idea as the number on your card can be used to defraud you.
11. Boarding pass pictures
Taking a photo of your boarding pass, is a way to show off. But it could have serious consequences, the barcode on your boarding pass is unique to you, and can be used to find the information you gave to the flight company.
