*SUG OFFICIALS MEET WITH THE VICE CHANCELLOR TO TACKLE ISSUES.*

The meeting which was held at the Conference room of the Vice Chancellor had in attendance the SUG Executive members and SRC honorable members. The meeting began with an opening prayers by the Vice President.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. F.O. Otunta enjoined the SUG officials to relate to the entire students on the dangers of being involved in the political sagas or being used for selfish political purposes by the various political parties in Abia State. He further advise the entire students to ensure that they remain good ambassadors of this University and to always be of good behaviours within and outside the University.

In addition, he addressed the issues concerning the welfare of the students as tabled to him by the SUG officials.

* For the Poor classrooms facilities, he assured the students that sooner than later, works will commence to renovate Achebe and ETF lecture halls.

* For the Intra campus keke, he has concurred to the N30 fare per drop of the keke plying inside the university.

* For poor hostel structures and light issues, he assures the students of his relentless efforts in ensuring that it will all be things of the past.

*Other issues as raised by the officials will be addressed appropriately and adequately.

Great Umudykes, remember that you owe your family, yourself and the entire nation the best you can offer.
